Those removable side handles can be used with one hand and automatically lock into place.
They are pleasant to use and offer enhanced safety when young children are in the kitchen.

Detachable handles are designed to be used during the cooking process when maneuvering cookware from stovetop to oven or oven to table. For safety, the handles shouldn’t be left on while cooking.

Attaching and removing the side handles:

• To attach, place the side handles on the cooking utensil through the slit, with the button facing upward, and push until the lock is engaged.
• To remove, place the cooking utensil on a stable, flat surface, press the button and pull outward.
