Porcelain Soup Bowl handmade and painted in Hungray at the world famous Herend shop. This decor is painted with their Rothschild design.

Rothschild Birds or Couple of Birds, one of the Best Known Herend Pattern, takes its name from the fabulously wealthy family. The several branches of the baronial Rothschild family regularly ordered services in the décor from the 1860s onwards.

The main elements are the  two Bird with a Golden Necklace. This is a famous family story. The birds took away the pearl necklace while everyone judged the staff. Originally the two Bird returned the lost necklace to the family.
