Sophie Mug Flared Celadon

This simple, beautiful, and functional mug is part of an entire tableware and bakeware collection designed by Sophie Conran, an English food writer with her own gourmet pie company. Conran infuses her namesake tableware with a flowing organic nature and tactile expression, as evidenced by the ridges and dipped rims that recall handcrafted pottery. Made of porcelain.

The mug has a capacity of 12-1/2 ounces, is formed as a slightly uneven cone, with a narrow base and straight sides that taper outward. A traditional ear-shaped handle adds a nice expression to this rustic yet modern mug. Quite durable and chip-resistant, the mug may be used to warm beverages in the microwave (or oven, if desired), and freeze iced coffee for later drinking.
