Bowl Red Maple 9 Inch

For over 35 years Gary Matthews has been turning wooden salad bowls and burls on a handmade lathe in his workshop near the village of Tamworth, Ontario.

Matthews hand carves and turns each wood piece, creating a truly Canadian feel in each of his works.

As these items are individually handmade, slight variations in size and colour are possible.

• Smooth Edge
• Red Maple
• 9 Inch
• Serve 1 person or side serving
• Made in Canada

How to Care:

Wash the wood surface and allow to dry. Apply board oil and spread the oil using a clean cloth. Dryer wood may require several applications.

For the best results, we recommend using both the oil and wax for the first year or so of use. Like antique handmade wood bowls, our wooden products are intended to develop into family heirlooms, and much like a cast iron pan will develop a warm protective patin and will require increasing less maintenance to renew the all-natural finish.
