Versatile in shape, weight and edge, the Classic Ikon Crème 7” Hollow Ground Santoku can be used for anything from mincing herbs, chopping vegetables or fruit, as well as preparing fish and meat. The sharp blade of a Santoku allows for regular or wafer-thin cuts, while the indentations along the edge of the blade prevent food from sticking to the knife. Designed with the efficiency and lightness of Japanese knives paired with the quality and strength of German steel, the Santoku is an essential in every kitchen.
The knife’s crème coloured handle rests comfortably in the hand while the small curvatures along the grip ensure a secure hold while prepping food. The handle is made from a highly durable synthetic material – Polyoxymethylene (POM) – which has a tighter molecular structure to resist fading and discoloration. The half bolster allows for the knife to be honed and sharpened the entire length of the blade while the heel bolster provides added balance.
The Wüsthof Classic Ikon Crème series combines perfect ergonomics, excellent balance and exceptional performance for a true culinary experience. With its modern design and contoured handle, this razor-sharp Santoku is one that you will reach for time and time again.
Family owned for seven generations, Wüsthof was founded in Solingen, Germany over 200 years ago. Wüsthof’s cutlery carries the Solingen name, a designation reserved for products that meet the strictest quality standards.
